The story of Konica Minolta started in 1873 when Rokusaburo Sugiura began to sell photographic and lithographic materials. In 1928 Kazuo Tashima established Nichi-Doku Shashinki Shoten (Japan-Germany Camera Company, later known as Minolta Co., Ltd.). The company as we know it today (Konica Minolta) was established in 2003.
Konica Minolta’s line of business includes development, manufacturing and sale of multi-functional peripherals (MFPs), printers, equipment for production print systems and graphic arts, equipment for healthcare systems, measuring instruments for industrial and healthcare applications, inkjet print heads and textile printers for industrial use, and related consumables and solution services.
